I am delighted to tell you that my short story “Inquiry and Assistance” has been nominated by the Short Mystery Fiction Society for a Derringer Award in the Best Novelette category. Published in Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine in January 2017, this Depression era story follows Tommy Flood as he and his cousin Luke wander around Manhattan earning a few bucks on a temporary job for their cousin Kathleen’s wealthy and demanding employer.
Gerald So interviewed all the Derringer nominees on his blog, So, You Want to Chat? Here is the link to our conversation about “Inquiry and Assistance”. To read the entire story, please click through to the short story page here on my website.
I am honored and amazed to be in the grand company of the 2017 Derringer Nominees.
Terrie
